That bump is Hasim Rahman-esque.
My "spellphone tumor" plot may have unconsciously come from seeing that fight, and remembering what Rahman said afterwards:
"I have a cut in the middle of my forehead, and an extra head on my head."
There's a bit of forehead foreshadowing for you.
